Last year we celebrated our 15th anniversary by releasing Do Right 15, a compilation that highlighted the musical diversity of our label roster. By popular demand, we’re pleased to unveil the follow-up expanded edition: Do Right 15.2. This time we’re putting the spotlight on our new Canadian signings and label favourites
Do Right 15.2 covers all the bases: from Toronto deep funk outfit The Soul Motivators featuring powerhouse vocalist Shahi, to the disco glamour of Tush as well as Alister Johnson’s deep house sounds. We follow these up with Maylee Todd’s side project PEGWEE POWER covering an 80s boogie classic ‘Mutual Attraction’, and blue-eyed soul mainstay Marker Starling’s rendition of Maylee’s 2013 hit “I Tried” from her ‘Escapology’ album.
